About

Hey there! I’m Benjamin, the founder of MLM Scam Insider. Before this, I used to be a sales rep at an MLM company. After losing my job as a relationship manager at a bank, I felt pretty hopeless. At 25, I had plans to marry my girlfriend the next year, but had to cancel our wedding due to the circumstances.

During this tough time, a friend suggested I join his team at Amway. He flaunted his success on Instagram with a Lamborghini, so I thought I could make it too. I bought a starter kit from him and became a distributor.

Being a sales rep at Amway was not what I expected. It felt like a cult, with everyone boasting about their progress, though most were only making a few hundred dollars a month. My team leader pushed me to attend networking events and recruit my family. Despite my efforts to sell the dream, I faced rejection every time.

Thinking success might take time, I continued with their training, but it was futile. They were just brainwashing me into believing annoying my college friends would lead to success.

When Covid hit, I spent more time at home and considered selling MLM products online. I researched how to start a blog and discovered that blogging is more lucrative without bothering friends.

After dedicating over 2 years to a budgeting blog, I sold it for $170k. My girlfriend and I used the money for a down payment on a small house. Now, I own several blogs, including MLM Scam Insider. I started it to caution people against MLM scams and pyramid schemes, revealing that only 1% in the MLM industry make a full-time income. (My friend who recruited me actually rented his Lamborghini for pictures on Instagram to scam people.)

Having worked in Amway, I’ve met many friends in the network marketing industry. I hope my insider information can genuinely help you.
